Ok think I have a workaround. If I remove the fancy cable and swap it for a standard ffc like : https://ie.rs-online.com/web/p/ribbon-cable/1792591
it will fit the Kyocera socket on the main connector board (just wont have the locking tabs) and the "ordinary" hirose socket on the oi pcb

Conformed the Kyocera part is the correct match for the oem. Also a standard 50 way ffc cable is a viable workaround to continue testing on the V1 board and perhaps even sell one or two :o :o
