Brake vacuum pump.

If anyone likes the MES/DEA 70/6E2 vacuum pump you can get new units from Jeremy Bloomfield at ‘EV Support’. There a very minimal single page website - http://www.ev-support.co.uk/ Apparently he sells other stuff like cables and connectors aswell, but you have to guess what’s available because nothing is listed.

There are much cheaper ways of doing brake vacuum because his new units are £200, but it’s new unused, includes the connector and he’s helpful.

This pump is a self contained unit. Just needs 12v and a 10mm pipe. It does the vacuum level sensing itself.

Product details here (from another unconnected site)

Mmmmmm
I'm OK with using cheap Chinese batteries in my ebike but not so sure about my car.

Everything that you own comes from China more or less.. and with the direction Europe is taking, you will own nothing and be happy. ;)

Not true. While a lot is made in China, I purchased three separate things from three separate manufacturers this week, made in USA. It takes more effort (and sometimes more $$$) to buy non-China, but for some things, it can be done.

I agree with the first part of this 100%, Chinese goods including batteries can be of the highest quality however the Chinese batteries in My Chinese MG5 electric car will have passed some form of quality control. MG can't afford to have their cars burst into flames every day as they would soon go out of business so goods like this will be of high quality.
Forgive my if I got it wrong as spouted without checking the company in the video but I am fairly knowledgeable of how poor quality many batteries coming from China can be. I've been buying them for years from Aliexpress and even the trusted brands sell dodgy copies of Japanese and Korean cells which is why I would be cautious.

Not sure about the second part of your reply, have you ever been to Europe?

yes I bought few times battery cells from a company and this year they burned me sending some cells that were a little inflated and did not want to fix the order. So i know it can be hard to trust Chinese sellers.

for 2nd part, yes I was born in Europe in a Schengen country and lived there almost half of my life.
I am better informed that most Europeans are about Europe and went back about 5 times.

I would expand but Johu will come here and spank me if I go into politics.

Tesla gen2 charger weighs 16kg!!! Surprisingly low for such a bulky item
Tesla DCDC weighs 3,3kg
