Sending Custom CAN messages from SDU openinverter board

Have you tried the other way around, i.e. sending from Arduino and receiving on the SDU side? Have you ever observed the CAN bus with something else than your Arduino setup, i.e. a proper USB-CAN interface and SavvyCAN?

Sorry, just got back to this project and this problem

I managed to get a proper CAN reader/interface that supports SavvyCAN and I still can not receive any messages I configured the Tesla Small drive unit to transmit. I tried to take your advice and transmit messages back to the drive unit, but I am lost as to what message to send the drive unit to test whether it receives messages. I would appreciate a guide on which messages to use for the test and how to format them.

I really need help getting this issue fixed,, as I can not complete the project without CAN messages from the Drive unit. I will appreciate any guidance towards this.
