Ripped out the original encoder today on the rear drive motor on the range rover and replaces with this thing from ebay. Very big improvement. Not perfect, but much better. Never thought I'd be thanking the clown who cut out the floor...

Speaking of flats...
I can't help but notice the first pass that ripped the board off the skid had some gnarly pokers sticking upwards. The next pass, surely those went up into the tires?
Quick, sell it before they finish draining!

DerangedRover now charging on AC with the Coda/Lear charger. That's the last piece of the puzzle folks. Few days of snagging and she's back off home.

You must be so relieved, finally your driveway will be used for parking worthy cars (land yacht, panzer, ...)

I Love this project so much - I have one of these still with the V8 in it (250k miles and counting) and I now know what I'm doing with it when any of it dies! Looking forward to the final video, thanks very much!

What was the cabin heater used in it?
Has the land yacht had a car park accident (the passanger door looked a bit dinked)
Damian becoming attached it a range rover is that code for an X5 is on the way?
Yeah... i am still struggling with that... I sort of turned my back on it and installed Webasto heater since i will need the heat soon.
But after my TUV goes through this week i intend to return to development. I hope to make a usefull controler this fall and test it.
JB if you manage to make a usefull controler in the meantime i volunteer to buy one.

Nice! With all those cars I'm sure the neighbors are at least glad you're an EV enthusiast and not a uncorked big block V8 enthusiast My neighbors are not so lucky

Excellent. I probably have the same Avalon - Camry inverter for the American market, the same as the ES 300h Lexus. If it suits me, then sell it to me for such a fee. There are many such invertors in Georgia. How much does the computer board cost and is it suitable?

Put the Wi-Fi module in the kit? If not, how much is the surcharge?
