Thanks, great information!
I am waiting to see how the Prius power comes along until I change to custom axles.

Hi Tom, hope the house move went okay.tom91 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 30, 2026 5:13 pm So all data + Power Calcualted in kW

Now just kW + Potnom on left and speed on right.

Notice how we reach a steady state power even though potnom is flat.
The steady state of around 25-27kW is a clue. I will review some of the HTM code for the toyota prius once I have moved house. Busy moving this weekend until next one. Maybe during the week I got a few minutes, all be it without internet at my new house![]()
Wondering if you have had a chance to look at the HTM code and have something for me to test out?
The car is running seamlessly

So in an attempt to run down the 12 kWh BMW pack a bit (starting at 342) before my next granny charge I went for a drive.
Did a few runs with accelerator flat to the floor and then regen when I caught up to the car in front.

Would like some advice on how to reduce the juddering that happens when coming off regen at slow speed and getting back on the accelerator to keep rolling.
It really only happens at slow speeds.
Are there any tweaks to Parameters that may help?
Ps I have a video to show the juddering but can’t seem to upload it!

There is a current issue that other have that is the same that gets fixed by removing a feedback value to the Lexus inverter it may also fix on the Toyota.

Okay, I’m now ready to GPS record up to 200 kph now!
Bonus, it has an Odometer function as well.

Re: Unlocking the power/torque of Prius gen 3 drive train?
Drive to the first VW meeting of the year a 50KM round trip and the car ran flawlessly!
The Garda paid us a visit in their electric VW!
I have discovered that if I feed the power through lighter application of the accelerator the car will go faster (over 120kpm) than if I plant the accelerator pedal to the floor. When I plant the accelerator to the floor it feels like the car hits the wall at about 104kmh.
Have logs for the foot to the floor/ hit the wall drive.
Should I find a long clear road and see how fast it goes and log this?

For science? I'd say solve the brick wall issue first, though.
A motorcyclist is never late, Frodo Baggins. Nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to.

Went for a drive and got to 130kph ish in traffic. Tried driving accelerator flat to the floor and then feeding in the accelerator when rolling.

The updated brown book arrived from the Department of Motor Taxation today.
Interesting that it says my engine capacity is 1285 cc!

Hi Tom, does this part of the code have something to do with the Gen 3 power/speed limit issue?

This code has been played with in greg vw rabbit/golf. with no impacts.
I need to still have a look at your logs. Work is keeping me too busy to have any mental capacity left in evening to do coding.
