I'm not quite understanding what your "charger" is.
Can you set a voltage on it? Or is it just an extension cord with a current limit?

it's just a glorified extension cord that controls the contactors in it's black box to the wall outlet, it does count the kWh going in to the actual charger bolted to the truck, and shows them to me on an iPhone app, also you can tell it to delay charging by say an hour or however many hours you want

The real achievement is that you've built a truck seemingly entirely out of squeaks and creeks. You can literally hear the stress transferring through the body and the frame, like a restrained chimpanzee being put through astronaut training.
Motor noise is a weird artifact of video recording, it's like the noise cancellation software goes "Aha! I know what the important part of this audio is, no not the vocals, this whining! Let me turn that pitch up a few decibels until it drowns out this annoying voice trying to talk to you."

and here is Sergeant Slow with our first 0-60 MPH speed report
we are still only running on one electric motor, and only charging our battery to 90%
Fun Fact: We never set out to build a race truck!

questions you'll be able to answer after watching this fascinating video:
1. Where is the Greg and Dusty going?
2. How far did Americans drive per day before DIVOC?
3. How many shake down miles is the Greg trying to put on the truck?
4. How old were you when you got your driver's license?
and more...

Great Stuff, thank you. Have just found your comprehensive post, and Wow what coverage. Normally am Somnic by night, and overtinkering by day, and only found the project posts a few days back. Some circumstances have given me middle night reading time, and so good to see a gs450h doing the road run. Well done.
A brief scan of your encyclopedia record has reminded me of the so many searches for bits, and plugs leads etc, and graft to get a Gs300h L110 and last week a Gs300h L210, to a driveway state. Thanks again, Woodfie

so I charged at one of the Kaiser health care factorie$ using a PowerFlex charging station yesterday and have some things to share and a questions:
at first I was honestly intimidated by the massive amounts of chargers in their solar panel covered parking lot, but... as it turned out this was the most hokey small time outfit I have ever used, and here's why
1. first as a new user you are instructed to take a pic of that square that should take you to the App store for you to download the app, well it doesn't, you get a message saying app not found, so as the cool kids say that's an epic fail
2. even when you GOOGLE PowerFlex you get like 2 or 4 companies that are not them, has anyone even heard of these guys before? do they have a presence in Europe?
3. the actual charger on the post show's you nothing, it just has a dumb blue light, you can't tell if it's working/charging or not, and of course you can not see any data or progress of charging

so assuming you get their app working, you can't just tether a credit card to it you have to seed some money, which is silly, it's essentially giving them an interest free loan, but anywho here are more flaws in their app:
1. the Session Progress half circle graph does NOT work (I called them up and reported this and they said they already knew about it and it should be fixed in Q3 lol)
2. and it amazes me how the "developers" seem to not know about the most basic of things you would want to see when charging, oh such as How Long Have I Been Charging For? or is it just me? Instead they give you start time, and end time, and leave the math up to us, great, that's much easier, quick what's 11:15 minus 9:58? LoL insead they give you a completely made up Carbon Dioxide statistic
