I own a FreeWire Boost charger from the now defunct FreeWire technologies. It uses an Orion BMS as the BMS for an onboard bank of 160 kWh worth of batteries which get used to DCFC cars using the charger. During the bankruptcy, all of their IP got assigned to a service provider to continue to provide service for a monthly fee. Unfortunately, this fee was several times more than the charger made on monthly basis, so I've been attempting to service issues that crop up as they come.
I'm curious if there are any other owners out there that are working on these stations on their own, and what have been their success and challenges. Just this last month, I had to deal with an open wire fault on one of the cells reported by the BMS that was appearing intermittently, and it certainly wasn't a walk in the park.
