I also bought the Mitsubishi Outlander Battery Charging Cable part number 9482 A150

and no that's not what I paid for it, and yes, eBay is loosing it's mind and getting worse every upgrade

eBay listing.jpg

Gentlemen I could really appreciate your help in identifying the mystery 3 prong "extra" cable in this Medusa like listing

That's the rear inverter to motor cable.
That price is very cheap for both cables. Was this listing for just one of the cables and did you get the right one?

I should get it today, it appears after it left UK it decided to tour California. I seem to live between a major receiving center and the post office distribution center on the other side of town, so they literally drive within 1 mile of my house from one place to the other in the morning, only to turn around and deliver it to my house later that evening

the ZombieVerter VCU controls (talks to) the Mitsubishi Outlander on CAN Bus 2 so it uses these two pins on the connector

let's take a look at the ZombieVerter VCU software, and the settings we need to configure for the Outlander Charger

we start under Parameters (pronounced: "Settings") under the General Setup section

first we need to select Out_lander using the pulldown menu next to the chargemodes parameter

chargemodes: Out_lander

next we just need to verify (no need changing anything) that the ChargerCan pulldown menu is on it's default setting of CAN2

ChargerCan: CAN2

1. Cheap
2. Both a charger and a DCDC in a compact package
3. Supported by the Zombieverter

4. Good 2nd hand CAN reporting on charging voltage, current, temperature... To compare to your BMS reference or to use as its own control reference.
5. Did i mention its quite cheap?

EDIT: Temp reporting is T[°C] + 40. So charger actually reports [hex] - 40 . Normaly primary and secondary temp are a bit different.
