Wanted: CHAdeMO plug and CCS socket

Post by johu »

For building a CCS to CHAdeMO adapter I need those two parts. I think any variant is fine, most of all I don't care about the AC wiring of the CCS socket.

CCS socket sorted. Anyone got a CHAdeMO connector? Extra bonus if it can handle 200A So I can do proper 70 kW quick charging :)

Alpitronics is removing the Chademo from more and more of their hyperchargers here, and replace it by CCS. Maybe they sell the old plugs instead of scrapping them. I wrote them a mail, let's see what they think.

Did you get any answer from them?

No, unfortunately nothing at all. I think the company is just to big, to get a response for such a special request, when writing to the general contact address. Maybe it could work if we would have a contact of a local service team, but unfortunately the contact which I know changed to an other company and cannot help anymore.
