Remote PDU/IO - Lets Standardize a CAN Table

Post by Mitchy »

This will hopefully build on the Wiki page here:
https://openinverter.org/wiki/CAN_table_CAN_STD

Looking to see if we can standardize towards a CAN Table for a Generic PDU/Remote IO device to build into Zombie
The actual end device shouldn't matter too much could be as simple as a bluepill and some interface IO, all the way to a custom PDU with 10A outputs.

I can draft something up for proposal, but just curious if anyone has any defined standards or words of wisdom to suggest suitable mapping.

So far I have only worked with a couple of aftermarket pdu's and generally you make it up as you go along. Usually your trying to pick up data from engine ecu's on their factory can outputs.
