Model 3 PCS Parameter Definitions - Help needed

Post by P.S.Mangelsdorf »

I realized there is not great documentation of the PCS parameters. Below are my definitions, including some gaps. Can others fill in the gaps and correct my definitions? I'll then add to the wiki. Question marks where I'm unsure/unclear/missing.

pacspnt = Power AC Setpoint? maximum power the charger can pull from the grid
idclim = DC current limit - maximum current into the battery
iaclim = AC current limit - maximum current from the grid
idcspnt = DC current Setpoint? - intended current into battery?
udcspnt = DC Voltage Setpoint? - intended max battery voltage
udclim = DC voltage limit - maximum voltage the charger should charge to?
timelim = maximum charge time - set negative if no limit?
timedly = ?
inputtype = Manual, Type 1, or Type 2 - what should trigger the start of charge
cancontrol = is the PCS control board being controlled over CAN, such as by a VCU
idckp = ?
idcki = ?
activate = Charge, DCDC, Both - what parts of the PCS should turn on

udcdc = Target 12V battery voltage
precht = time to precharge via 12v?

Alerts = which alert do you want to display
AlertLog = should the alerts be logged
If at first you don't succeed, buy a bigger hammer.
