Lucid Air motor - tech talk

Watched this the other night and though some may find it as interesting as I did.

Particularly liked the tiny little differential in the centre of the rotor!

Yeah it's great I love everything of the design. It's well thought off.

A pity there was no mention of the gear reduction tech - and why they chose planetary vs parallel gear sets?

I think the answer is simply effeciency since it's the main design goal...
