SDU wiring Brake Transolver

Post by Colin0999 »

Need assistance wiring up my Tesla SDU. The wiring diagram mentions "brake transolver +5v" for pin 18 of the 20 pin Molex connector. Could someone please explain what this is and what it does. I was unable to find anything searching the forums. Thanks!

ok the brake input is an analog input to know how "hard" you are pressing the brake pedal.

Its not mandatory and config dependant but if you can generate this signal it will mean that regen is applied in accordance with that signal.
