I've got a local driveline shop I plan on utilizing. Basically hand them a transmission flange and say 1310 rear yoke u-joint X inches (that's right!) long with a splined slip tube in it. May put a carrier bearing step in there if the transmission is not slid far enough back.

if you plan on using the GS450h you have no choice but to run the center bearing support, these transmission output shafts are not designed to carry the driveshaft weight/load I don't think and you risk stressing and damaging the output shaft bearing, also if you don't have an independent rear suspension you have to use a two piece drive shaft to slide in and out of itself when the rear axle articulates up and down, again the GS450h transmission does not have a sliding output shaft like the American TH350

Good info! I knew the rear of the GS450h didn't slide, so that's the two piece is the splined slip tube I mentioned. I hadn't given any thought about the rear bearing design possibly not liking the slip tube load.

This tank definitely has a solid back axle.

Sure are. The finest of 1967 Ford Thunderbird technology! Has a very wore out drivetrain. Figured I could sink $12k into another grumbly V8 and transmission or try the electric route.
