leaf battery pack peak amp

Post by kon »

I'd like to run my Tesla LDU with a full leaf pack, but I'm worried that the pack won't be able to handle the power.
All I found was a peak output power of 228A in the wiki, is this the 'on-paper-max' or 'real world max' ?
thank you

Leaf pack is not enough power for an LDU. Cells will be very unhappy with the discharge amount and you'll get lots of sag.
LG Chem cells, such as found in Chevy Volt packs, are more suitable, and of course Tesla batteries can handle the power.
