Options for 150V EV Charger?

Post by thousandparadox »

I'm hoping to find cheap charger solution that leverages salvaged EV Hardware. I'm curious about what's out there.
There is some assorted information about attempts at using different chargers on the Open inverter Wiki. https://openinverter.org/wiki/Category:Charger

My wants and needs are:
>I need to charge a battery pack that ranges from 108V to 150V (6x Tesla Model S 5.6kW modules)
>Hopefully high power >6KW (40A) charger with water cooling. I'm hoping to use the 7KW public chargers.
>Hopefully Canbus controlled to reduce to very low current during balancing.

I'm using an Orion BMS 2

I'm a newb looking to learn about the DIY EV Charger World. Any and all information is helpful.
Thanks.
