Hi,
I looked through the wiki, but didn't see anything on this.
Is the canbus terminated on the inverter controller? I'm wondering if that might be the problem I am having reading any values from it.
Canbus Termination Question
Re: Canbus Termination Question
A DMM will tell you all I guess. Just measure between both CAN lines and see if R60 or R120 popup

Re: Canbus Termination Question
The Prius Gen2 board has an optional termination resistor (solder bridge) and the Leaf adapter board can also have one populated. Not sure about Damiens boards. Certainly V2 and V3 kits have no termination built in.

Re: Canbus Termination Question
CAN usually works fine without any termination over a short distance, so it sounds unlikely that is your problem. Unless you have more than two terminations on the bus, which you would see on the DMM if it measures less than 60 ohms.
