Recommended/most used EV conversion Special Tools?

Post by Dan--T »

Hi all,

I'm at the stage in my project where I'm going to be working with HV battery pack/harness junction box etc.

Christmas is coming, so if there are any important tools I'm going to need I could use the opportunity to treat myself.

Insulated spanners/screwdrivers?
Special multimeter? (I have a basic one)

Any recomendations?

Thanks
Dan

The only tool I consider special in my toolset is a high quality crimper (Rennsteig) with inlays for 4-25mm² lugs

Not ev specific, but this has proven invaluable in troubleshooting or testing signals.

(Commercially available as evtv due)
Rule 1 of EV Club is don't buy a rust bucket....
