Chargers info and discussion

Post by ggeter »

Please post your charging solutions here for discussion and reference. Please provide:

1. Pack voltage
2. Pack chemistry
3. Max charge rate
4. Supported protocols ("none" is certainly an option)
5. Brand name/model if commercial unit
... Or, other hardware method (Prius inverter, etc.)
6. BMS interface
7. Other recommendations / discussion / highlight OpenInverter software/hardware

Thanks!

Here's mine now that I have everything purchased and the pack mostly built:

1. 307v (96s, 12p)
2. LiFePo4 BatteryHookup 32650 cells 6ah each, 3C max, 10C impulse
3. 0.2C
4. J1722 only
5. Thunderstruck TSM2500 3KW max @ 220v
6. Dilithium Design 96p
7. Smallish charger, but the car's for local driving only. 3KW max on my 24KWh pack means 6 hours to charge from dead flat to full.
