Testing platform

Post by johu »

I've browsed around a bit for a compact power module that would allow me for bench testing.

The best bang for the buck seems this: 450V, 20A, 113€

Thought maybe this could be of general interest

Hi Johannes,

Have you used this power module yet? Do I understand it correctly as this would be a plug and play with V2 or V3 inverter kits?

I have with me here a small power section with unknown max rating 3 phase. Current sensors go to 50A. It was used to power AUX hydraulic pump in Opel Ampera. So it should be quite overrated.
Its interface is 5V level and described in Tom91 document in a thread here
https://www.diyelectriccar.com/forums/s ... stcount=85 and by myself here
https://www.diyelectriccar.com/forums/s ... stcount=84

I think this would be very suitable to you since everything is on hand. Even current sensors are there. Unit has its own chill plate and everything left to do is to hook up your signals and power. It should work from 40Vdc up to 420Vdc
I am sorry i dont have a connector for it though and the other one which is in my inverter i will need for my car.
If you want me to sent it to you by mail...
