motor on my table overcurrent error

Post by chentron »

I mount my ACIM motor, AC24LS, in my table and connect to the openinverter v2 .
throttle is emulated with a powerswitch
voltage DC is emulated with a external bridge rectifier (230VAC => 330 VDC)
I have defaults parameters values, except for udc values and numimp , also I raise ocurlim to 150.
precharge resistance is 200ohm /50w
sense board is v3 , i only modified it resistance R1 to a lower value because i was getting inacurated voltage DC value. I got now exactly DC value.

I got an overcurrent error when I pulse START.

Can someone get me in the right direction to test what is happen and solve it?
thanks

It keeps giving me the overcurrent error, but I can save it by clicking a second time. The motor also turns, after changinf boost to 3000, but it starts turn violently. And once it turn it immediately gives an overcurrent error. I keep doing tests

after reducing boost to 2000 , starts to turn smoothly, and with soft action throttle can turn well , but if i hard push throttle get overcurrent inmediatly

Suggest increase fweak to 220 and try.
Reduce throtramp to 5.

overcurrent still happens when I start the inverter. second push on start let me continue.
when I hard push throttle not overcurrent, but i burnt 2 fuses in the AC line feeding my bridge rectifier that is powering the DC line.
I feel too much rpm and violent on hard push , motor wants to fly

Be careful of over revving motor as it has no mechanical load. What is the motor rating ?
Reduce throtramp to 0.5 or lower if you wish and try again, motor should ramp up slowly.
AC fuses probably cant take the current, so ramping slowly may help for testing.
Above fweak the current will rise.

the motor really goes very soft when i push the throttle slow, problem is when full throttle or just fast pushing.
i read 20 times parameters definition, but i am not able to understand what exactly means most of parameters.

motor nominal rpm 4600
maximum rpm 11000
maximun rpm mecanical 12000
peak kw 47
peak torque 92 N.m.
continuos torque and power at 4700 rpm

69V , 4 pole , 1700rpm , 60hz

Try changing slipstart to 100. That means no slip until 100% throttle.

better with slipstart to 100 .
I might understand what mean slipstart ... and also all other parameters.
thanks. thanks. thanks
what i am missing with slipstart at maximum ?
