Direct battery connection to Gen2? Topic is solved
Direct battery connection to Gen2?
Hi. The installation worked well for a long time, then an overcurrent appeared, although the current was a maximum of 160 amperes at its peak. For some reason, my transformer overheated and burned out, it looks like there was a bad contact. I took it off for revision, it looks like it's over. I do not use an inverter to regenerate or charge a high voltage battery, only to turn the motor. If you use a direct connection of the high voltage battery to the busbars of the inverter, won't it damage it?

Yes, do a direct connection into the inverter when running more than about 80A DC

Thanks to Johannes, I made a jumper in the inverter on the + bus bypassing the boost. It continues to work well without a boost.
