Gen2 & rx 400h setup tip?

Post by alehandro »

ImageHello everyone. Today I tested my new toy (as long as only coastal tests). This project features a boat powered by a Lexus rx 400h electric motor and a Gen2 inverter powered by a small 14kw 140v battery. I ran this with Johannes smd board, for which special thanks to him. The launch setup was successful and there is already forward and reverse rotation, I confess, quite smoothly. But when I further increase the speed with the gas pedal, a kind of stall occurs, reminiscent of a cutoff in an internal combustion engine. I played a little with some settings, but it didn't help. Share your experience on what parameters to change.

Can you show spot values when the dropout is happening?

fmax is quite low at 200 Hz. Means 3000 rpm.

I changed the fmax to 600 on the advice of Johannes, now there are no breakdowns and the revs have become much higher, which is what you need. It would be nice to reduce the current consumption without losing torque. What parameter should I decrease or increase to reduce ampere consumption? Thanks for the advice!

Tell us how you connected to the RX400 resolver?
We are solving a similar problem with an electric rear axle from Lexus.
We want to use GEN2 , but there are doubts about the accuracy of the perception of sin/cos signals from the resolver. We could not find a special signal processing unit of the resolver on the op-amp in the Gen2 circuit. Is a simple input divisor enough? Photos and diagrams will help us a lot. In the topic GEN2, a special scheme for processing resolver signals was discussed,is this scheme relevant on three op-amps?
Thank you in advance.
do not rush to judge hurry up to understand.
