I've purchased several Tesla items from them via ebay and direct. The items received were well packaged and the descriptions accurate. I'd use them again.

I made an offer of $22.50 US/ea, and bought 2 of them. It came with free shipping in the US.

$45 including shipping for a pair of contactors? Hell yeah.

I realized I should have bought more, since I've never seen contactors that cheap before. I made another mirrored offer, but by that point he only had 3 left and they all sold to higher bids.

Ahh well, at least I got 2.

Thanks for the tip!

Be wary of those contactors if buying from UK, I just bought some from the same seller and he is asking for $80 on top in postage (plus import tax and duties)

He refused to ship to Canada, even after I asked.

This is common, so there's a whole industry of "ship it to the border" warehouses a mile from the border where you just ship it there instead, and they'll either forward it for you or hold it there for 3 months for $5 until you get around to crossing over.

For example, shipped a small 4lb box from US to Canada yesterday, $48 USD. Ridiculous. That'll literally pay for a tank of gas that a 6-hour round trip would be for 90% of Canada's population to get to the border and back.

Usually for car stuff, shipping is so expensive everyone sends it to the border, and then the one guy who's desperate enough to need his stuff soonest gets everyone to dogpile their tracking numbers to him and he'll bring back a minivan full like Santa.

I'm sure that's fun at customs/border control

Half of them have jobs because there is, because of shipping pickups, something to do at that otherwise slow border crossing. And it's Canada, not Czechoslovakia.

Good price with free shipping -- but never know what you're gonna get WRT harnesses and such without pictures. :(
But yes if I had some extra room that'd be good for the M3 hybrid project..

I just noticed they offer 3 months warranty. I agree Matt you'd have to ask for inclusion of certain ancillaries - no harm in asking I guess. I'd go for it if I lived in the USA...but I don't.

This is the company that had eight the 40kw battery packs, I think they don't the true value of the EV parts. He was asking me what price to sell the 40kw packs for. He offered me a gen2 complete stack for 1000£

Suggest you snap it up before some else does

It's a little on the saucy side IMO, particularly give the SoH.
They're on your doorstop though so I'd be inclined to drop over to them, in the van, with cash in hand, and look to drive to a middle ground at about £2750 tops.

Any more than that and I'd walk away.

That's kinda what I was thinking too but it's already sold so somebody thought it was worth the money.
The 85% SOH was a concern too. I thought it might be a single dodgy cell pulling the pack down but I don't know enough about them to make a call like that.

It could be alright, and give the age of the pack and the general stability of those cells it might even have been probable.
Surprised to hear it sold that fast at that price.

Series 2 PHEV Rear Differential for £399 on eBay.co.uk. Nice transverse arrangement. Appears to also be found in the Mini Countryman PHEV too, but they're a bit younger and more expensive, but probably more popular and more coming down the line. Couldn't find anymore tech specs other than mentions of power when in electric mode only.

Should deliver about 88hp / 165Nm
