1982 911 : Tesla SDU + i3

Post by ManuFromParis »

Hello all,

I've had this wonderful conversion handled by EV-Shop on my 1982 911 SC Turbo-Look :
- Tesla SDU
- 8 x i3 packs
- Orion 2

I've just spent 4 super-exciting days testing and debugging the car @EV-Shop's workshop, it was a blast !
Some cooling adjustments are being performed to handle a strong use, and it will then be shipped back to me, in France.

I'll post several topics about issues with CAN messages programming, Regen parameters and so on.

Details and pictures will be posted soon
(BTW, which is the easiest way to post pictures on this forum ? I used to store pictures on photobucket, but they are really a pain, now)

Stay tuned !
8-)

I just received the car and was working on several other issues, so hadn't had time to work on CAN messages again.

Apparently, the web interface to set inverter's CAN messages had this known bug in the version I used at that time (I don't remember which though).
It has been updated since. But with the latest version which doesn't handle the regen, so it'll be temporary upated again to a previous version.

How do you plan registering your 911 since the build was done in UK?
