Parameters

Post by Stinny78 »

Hi I’ve recently got my first vehicle rolling with SDU
I’m looking some advice on best way to limit battery amps to 100a for some initial tests.

Also struggling with the pot throttle.
I can’t get rid of dead zone for first 30% of throttle movement.

It then engages and typically applies too much power causing lots of wheel spin.

I’ve attached my settings.

Hopefully I’m adding this post in the correct part of forum.

To limit battery amps you can set idcmax and idcmin to 100 and -100 respectively.
Try setting pot2min and pot2max to 4095 -- that may fix your throttle issue.

Also the deadzone is caused by brknom. It is the amount of travel that controls regen. Reduce it and perhaps reduce ampmin even further if start is too sudden.
