Re: MEB Chargers

So one thing that needs to be worked out before these chargers can be fully controlled is the crc/checksum used in the messages. In the attached there is a checksum in byte0 and a counter in byte1. Would be great if someone could work out the calculation...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support

Re Patreon Video "Improved Zombie". Unfortunately I can't see the named video for some reason. Can I ask if the work on the GS450H reconversion is completed and if everything is working OK. My question is in relation to regen not working and jerkiness in throttle operation. I ask this as ...

Sure. You'll just need to reprogram the firmware for your specific needs.

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support

Using TPS as throttle. I want to keep my original accelerator pedal so I’m using the car’s throttle position sensor (TPS) to provide a single channel throttle signal for the Zombieverter. Calibration went fine, except for the usual Olimex WiFi problems, but the motor doesn’t start spinning until th...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support

I’ve built up my Wemos WiFi adapter board. As Damien says it’s quite straightforward. The only thing to watch is that the back of the mini USB port doesn’t short the connector pins. For the 10 pin connector I used item 613010243121 from Mouser. Can anyone confirm if the instructions for installing ...

Re: MEB Chargers

So good news is it looks like the charge port from the Mii shares the same part number with the Golf and Golf phev. The charge port actuator feedback is a bit strange so had to break out a propper multimeter to figure it. Feedback is 1k between pins 18 and 19 on the charger when the locking pin is f...

Charge port temp sensor. While I dont have a Golf charge port I do have a loan of the CCS combo port from the Mii. Its AC temp sensor is reading 1067R at approx 15C ambient temp.
