Zombie-don't-kill-people code requires the brake pedal be applied at start up to verify that it is getting brake signal yup, thats it. progress. inverter side pulled brake to 12v, then start to 12v now in run mode on the inverter. selecting drive via zombie sends forward/rev to inverter. and ill he...

Re: [DRIVING] leaf powered 1983 Subaru BRAT (dual outlander WIP)

is the OI board responding to any of the Zombie's CAN instructions? Have you logged to confirm the Zombie is sending over CAN? Any chance it's some small mistake like CAN speed mismatch or termination issues? okay so if i powerup the inverter (oi board): lasterr: PRECHARGE status: UdcbelowUdcsw|Bra...

Is the inverter seeing the direction command from the Zombie? no Are you running the new OI code which expects the CAN counters and checksumming? yes updated to the latest, in "last error" it read CANCOUNTER on the oi interface Does Zombie generate the can counters/checksums that the OI b...

1) Do I need one batman board per battery, thus I might need 4 batman boards? 2) Once I have harvested one of the batman chips of the Model 3 slave boards and installed it/them to the batmanboard/s, do I still need the Model 3 slave board/s? 3) Where can I find more details on how to install these ...

Re: Toyota GT86 with Nissan Leaf Motor

Hi Zapatero, I've started converting my 2002 Subaru Legacy B4 into an electric vehicle, and now I'm racking my brain over the adapter plate from Nissan Leaf to Subaru gearbox, and it seems like your works fully fit with my case. If you can share your *.DXF files of the adapter plate, it would solve...

no mention of BMS's/BMS Controllers has been made, maybe I'm showing my ignorance a bit but is the Zombie capable of controlling the OEM BMS of the Smart and Chevy purely standalone? have yet to get to the bms stage for the VW, focusing on getting wiring and mounts all tidied up. and getting chargi...

do you have more info on this please ? a linky link perhaps Just some simple machining and welding. you take the Toyota cv joint/stub and cut it down, turn it round on the lathe. then make a flange with the 100mm bolt pattern that the vw cv joints have, and press that on to the turned down Toyota s...

Re: 1984 Voltswagen Rabbit Prius Gen 3

It’s in! It looks like you centred the drive unit. I would but the vw axles back in and set the diff between them, then no custome length axles. Then you can take the Toyota cv joints and make flanges like so
