Re: [FIRST DRIVE] StreetScooter Repair and Reverse Engineering

I'm pretty sure I have seen it in the documentation that it can be switched off - I also know that some of the batteries have been used for stationary energy storage and assumed the security would be switchable.

Peak CAN interfaces were the StS unit of choice from memory.

Re: [FIRST DRIVE] StreetScooter Repair and Reverse Engineering

It is possible to turn off the start Auth for the batteries.

This way there doesn't need to be a handshake.

Re: [WIP] StreetScooter Repair and Reverse Engineering

For getting it started, any time I've had the 12v off, I essentially have to cycle the ignition on and off several times before the vehicle will drive.

On mine, the instrument cluster/buzzer makes sound once it is ready to drive.

On my one with dead obc it doesn't prepare to charge at all and ...

Re: [WIP] StreetScooter Repair and Reverse Engineering

Installing the battery with floor jacks is definitely a job for multiple people.

Re: [WIP] StreetScooter Repair and Reverse Engineering

I've actually managed to get 2 of my vans back up and running again so am happy to do some data logging and decoding if needed at all for any others here.

Heye, looks like you have done some good digging.

The Samsung prismatics you assumed you had I believe we're fitted on both earlier and later vans.

With the charge inlet port - they are susceptible to taking on water so be careful charging after any rain or washing.

When they short - they smoke ...

Re: 11KW StreetScooter charger group hack

Apologies if I'm waking the dead here - am able to log a charging van now.

Also have a dead obc - does anyone know a source for a replacement 11kw?

I've just spent the evening swapping a battery from 1 van to another rather than swapping OBC :D
