Re: Prius Gen 3 Inverter Logic Board Support Thread

Thank you - that would be useful before i go to the expense of replacing it. I'm in Bicester but can post it to you. Another set of eyes on it would be helpful in case i am being a muppet somewhere. Can you PM me an address and I'll find some sensible packaging. I'll probably dpd it given the post ...

Re: Prius Gen 3 Inverter Logic Board Support Thread

I am attempting to order a replacement board from JLCPCB using the gerber file etc as supplied. There is an inventory shortage on a few items, most of which can be sorted but there is a component labelled PS1 (SGM3204), which is a negative voltage charge pump which is out of stock. If i can get thi...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support

Yes the isa shunt is required and I have explained that in the video series and put links in the video description to : https://www.evcreate.nl/shop/charging/ivt-current-sensor/ Over on the wiki page the videos are even indexed with the specifics of connecting the shunt and the why : https://openin...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support

Stupid question , does using the IS300 with a zombieverter still need the Isabellahute current shunt ? if so does anyone know of a source of these, I've looked all over and in the video it seems to be on the bench (17.30) but not mentioned where the hookups are described

Yes; I thought I would VPN into the car but indeed "phone home" is even safer concept. I just would like to schedule heating and monitor charging / settings. And know where the vehicle is. Boating people have SignalK/Influx db and dashboard with grafana like this .. https://www.youtube.co...

Re: Bricked mainboard?

I purchased a mainboard kit from the shop, it arrived, and was working fine. Today, I made some small edits to the firmware and uploaded the binary, and now the 'alive' LED isn't flashing. I powercycled the board, and tried to upload the original firmware, but this kept failing (the green LED on th...

@ bjp
I have a couple of new dual motor boards auris need building but would seriously consider v1c single board with the jumpers soldered powering both as a simpler option

Oh, hmm, I've not programmed a board from Windows, just Mac or Linux. I'm not familiar with Cube, so can't help with the specifics of that. But it stands to reason that if the error started after reprogramming, then something went wrong with the reprogramming. I'd suggest trying to reprogram the bo...

Noob question from someone who should know better ....if a guy got a V1c board working in open loop and all was progressing well then got complacent and hooked 12v to a car battery the wrong way round, blowing the 5A fuse , with a little bit of smoke , what might he have to replace to see life in it...

Been reverse engineering these things, this works but is crude , I’ll post my voltage findings when I’ve written them up . I’ve got 4 in series now giving 200+v dc . What could possibly go wrong!!
