Re: EM61/EM57 driven by Prius gen3 inverter
I am using the gen 3 and EM61 combination, and paralleling MG1 and MG2 power stage to maximize current potential. I works very well and pretty straightforward to set up. Could you share your params? What throtcur are you using? I get the inverter cut out with paralleled mg1 and mg2 using throtcur 4...

Re: MachE parts already on the market!
Hey Guys, I have a ford E crate Eluminator motor that I plan to FOC tune with the prius gen 3 inverter. Does anyone have experience with this motor? Ford does not provide any information at all with the motor. Especially nothing about the connector or pinout for the resolver connections or the pole...

Re: Prius Gen 3 Inverter Logic Board Support Thread
My current sensor CAPs (C57,C59) are indeed out of range at 3.84V. I checked the voltage dividers and found the resistors are all pretty close to the V1c circuit guide. the largest difference was R72 at 2.8k when it should be 3k but im not sure if that alone can cause 3.84v on the caps. the only oth...

Re: Prius Gen 3 Inverter Logic Board Support Thread
When looking in the link below it seem like your current sensor feedback is outside limits. When getting this error, do you have the current sensors connected? If not, try and connect them. If the current sensors are connected, measure the voltage across C57 resp. C59. That is the current feedback ...

Re: Prius Gen 3 Inverter Logic Board Support Thread
is 3.273v acceptable deviation on the C32 3.3v supply? I also have -4.95V on Connector 7 (mg2 current sensor ). Could this voltage difference be the cause for the HICUROFS2 error?

Re: Prius Gen 3 Inverter Logic Board Support Thread
Can someone help me determine what could cause HICUROFS2 error and complete FULL battery current injection when a throttle input is given. The inverter current sensors are working properly when I switch V1c boards with the same FOC parameters the inverter functions with full control. I also verified...

The wifi module is powered off the same 3V3 as the stm32. If the latter is alive you'd also see blinky. Mouser has plenty of STM32F103RBT6 in stock. https://www.mouser.de/ProductDetail/STMicroelectronics/STM32F103RBT6?qs=bhCVus9SdFv12dJRZaBmJg%3D%3D Very good to know my board does indeed still have...

Re: PLEASE HELP. GEN 3 damaged 5v supply
If the logic board was connected to the inverter and current sensors at the time then it's likely they have popped also. But being Toyota they might just ignore it! I figured the inverter current sensors my be damaged but I have a spare Toyota inverter . I'm much more concerned about the logic boar...

PLEASE HELP. GEN 3 damaged 5v supply
Hello guys I made a mistake when testing my inverter. I touched the +5v supply for sensors to +12 battery. I heard a few fait pops and a trace amount of magic smoke smell. The board leds come on but now I get the below incorrect readings on the various test points from the wiki. Can the 5v circuit b...

Re: AURIS inverter Parallel MG1 and MG2 and DCDC question
Are you able to fit the Prius logic board in a Auris? To my knowledge the Yaris/Auris logic board is smaller. Anyway, you should be able to parallel the outputs (MG1 and MG2) in the same way for Prius Gen3, Auris and Yaris inverter. If I remember correctly the Yaris/Auris DC/DC controller board is ...

AURIS inverter Parallel MG1 and MG2 and DCDC question
Hello I just found out I have a Auris gen 3 inverter instead of a Prius. However I have a Prius gen 3 logic board kit. I can drive MG2 no problem and FOC tune. Can I still parallel MG1 and MG2 by connecting the six solder jumpers on the board in the same way as I would with the Prius gen 3 inverter?...

Re: EM61 transaxle Parking lock Help
Thanks for the response guys I think I will also use the pliers method. Once manually unlocked is there any chance if self reengagement with vibration? No, it has a knee inside that motor has to overcome to engage the lock. I have used Leaf motor in my car as is for halfh a year now and i think i a...

Re: Gen2 vs Gen3
There are differences in voltage limits in each. In particular there are two gen3 models, the cheaper one has 300V battery side capacitors while the more expensive one has 400V. Both gen3s have a higher voltage rating on the motor HV side than the gen2 if I remember right. Personally I think if gen...
