:)
I have done it about two years ago on my Jag. I don't think they were meant to be installed like that but so far I have not had any issues with that.

Re: GS450H Discussion

Fantastic, thank you! Couple of questions: What kind of range are you seeing on your 48kwh pack? Any idea final weight of your build? What size cables are you using for main battery lines? I am getting just over 100 miles comfortably, and up to 120 on a good day. This is using around 80% of capacit...

Yes, you can use single CAT8 S/FTP cable for all 4 pars.
I used it for resolvers as well but it may be overkill.

Re: GS450H Discussion

Is there a way to just test the inverter, to see if it's good or not. I'm literally going crazy as I can't get things to spin. I tested my throttle and i'm getting a 0 to 495 and I set it via the serial and I loaded the program and have check my wiring 3 times . The only thing I do notice, that I d...

Re: GS450H Discussion

I wonder if we should change the code to only use MG2 to provide torque until ~25% load. I’ve noticed the same gear whine and lash and it bugs me too. It seems quieter at higher loads in my car which is pretty interesting. Interesting idea, I have tried MG2 only on my early test drives. If I rememb...

Re: GS450H Discussion

Thank you! Helical gears are not so easy to measure, to create some sort of locking brackets. Also carrier case is welded, so to install brackets between satellites, you need to remove them first. It is complex process. I think at first I need to make sure this whole power split device locking meth...

Fantastic work on locking ring. How are you progressing on coupling MG1 and MG2 together. Are you planning to come up with something other than welding? Thank you! Re: GS450H Discussion

Did anyone welded planetary carrier? Asking becase for me it looks like a good idea, so mechanical oil pump will work and no need for complex and expensive electric oil pump. you say "-d" but your makefile has "-g" Right, I meant "-g", my bad. Makefile is correct as you may have guessed. i get it to jump directly in the reset_handler and then it stops.. so a breakpoint in main isn't triggered and i doubt if its reached... I observed similar...

Re: STANDARD WINDOWS IDE FOR STM32

did you modify the makefile itself? Not much to changed but you need to be aware of few aspects. First of all, for debugging you need .elf file, in Makefile from Johannes based projects it is disguised, basically it is generated but with no extension. This is why in launch.json file I have: "e...
