Firstly, you're English is fine!
Secondly, not able to help on the communications side but is the original steering box a manual or hydraulic steering box? Usually these are geared differently and might be the reason you've got too much assistance.

Re: Bench test - Leaf with OI board (v3) and zombieverter. Spins a bit then stops until manual intervention

Anyone able to provide insight into what might be causing this? The bench setup is not setup atm as I'm focusing on other aspects but I'll need to address this in the coming months.

Failing that I'll swap back to the original leaf board but I'd rather be rolling the OI board if possible.

@ Jacobsmess: regarding checking the reported speed of the inverter, I still did not find a corresponding spot value. Are you reffering to "speed" as a spot value?
Tom above has answered this

Hi Tom, could you elaborate how to check the "reported speed from the Inverter"?

You can select it on the spot values display, it will then allow you to see the speed on the gauge screen.

Hey guys,
I linked to this thread from https://openinverter.org/wiki/Bosch_iBooster. As you have the iBooster(s) on the bench, can you measure them when you have a chance and add the details in the table, similar to what we have for the Zoe and Yaris ones already?
Happy to help with any editing ...

Kubota and mg2 from a prius would make a nice sense but agree with Brat, EV first, hybrid later.

Can I check the signals from the resolver by turning the output shaft by hand? Are there any spot values for that?
How to check reported speed from the inverter?
Yes, Damien shows this in a video somewhere

For the master cylinder itself, I'm using a Bosch 0 204 854 799 (got mine from a Vauxhall/Opel Grandland X), which has a 1" bore vs the stock MX5 (Sport) 15/16" bore and with the outlet ports on the more favourable side to mimic stock MX5 packaging.

I've not looked at your params but Tom suggested the PSU might not be up to the task depending on what you're trying to pull from it. I'd go through the params and dial things back. Turn off regen (if its not already) and turn things down and see if things change.

Re: Flying ADC BMS - incorrect voltage readings and two not starting up

Sorry so I've got 10 boards in total.
4 (not 3 as previously stated) work fine
3 give incorrect voltage readings but otherwise appear to operate fine, no errors.

Flying ADC BMS - incorrect voltage readings and two not starting up

I'm getting incorrect voltage readings on 3 of my boards and 2 dont even power up.

I swapped headers and this may have led to the issue.

I've checked Fet readings and resistors. The 3 working boards I have appear to match the 3 that are giving incorrect readings and the 2 that won't start.

I can ...

Re: Flying ADC 16 channel BMS 96S test

Apologies for asking again but is this also likely linked to my incorrect Udc readings posted previously?

I've removed a header of one and checked all the connections. They seem fine, ive checked the Fet readings as described several tomes (all at 0.6 with 0.7 for Q1 and Q5) which appears to match ...

Re: Minimum configuration to get LS210 running on the bench / how to initialise ISA shunt?

You no longer need to use the Due, Zombie can initialise the Shunt itself.
connect it up correctly ensuring you use the correct connector on the Shunt (this has caught me out in the past), set the zombie to Init on, save params and power cycle both the zombie and shunt, I believe the zombie needs to ...

Red probe on the single pin, black probe on the lower left one (or upper right for the mirrored FETs).

Re: Unimog 404S EV conversion

Will you need to spin it at 10k? Surely the original ICE paired with the same gearbox maxed out at 4000rpm or so. You have a gearbox, so you can use this to keep the lead rpm low and speeds adequate. But regardless of that, I get you want things well aligned.

Re: [WIP] Leaf to VW Type 2 Campervan

Someone will be along to confirm but as I'd understand. You'd use the positive of cell 55 and the positive of cell 56. This would create a circuit across cell 55 only and this bump its voltage up. You can use a multimeter to find those on the connector (using jump leads so you don't short out any ...

Re: [WIP] Leaf to VW Type 2 Campervan

Not sure about separating them but surely the BMS has individual cell taps. Even trickle charging the set of 3 will work to balance as they'll all sit at the same voltage anyway.
