Hi, nice thread. A question for you. Where you marked, does this means that is where the IGBTs are, or you are just pointing at the PCB, where they are mounted?

Thanks for your response. I think I'd let this slide away. I have got other 12-24VDC motors that I could use though. Was just asking if this particular one can be made to spin, without the steering ECU

You can actually get a replacement module on eBay. I have done same for a Hyundai sonata 2012 hybrid some years ago, and it worked.

I think you could use a bunch of LED power supplies connected in series for this job.
