FWIW I ported the GS450h throttle map code from the GS450h VCU software to the Zombieverter for use in my E46 + GS450h project.

Use at your own risk it bypasses most of the current/voltage/etc protection code but drives smoothly and has regen: https://github.com/streber42/Stm32-vcu/tree/gs450h ...

I've had my motor running in the car with a gen 2 Prius inverter and an Open Inverter board. It needed more tuning to be drivable at the time and I was too impatient for all that, so I switch to canbus controlled Outlander inverter for control.
Would certainly be worth trying again with the work ...

Seeing as how JC has discontinued his SLK conversion (unfortunately as it was looking awesome), I've finally started putting parts into mine and have lots still to do and decide upon related to battery and mountings etc so that it'll suit road registration ...

Will you be using the upper dc-dc converter section of the inverter to power anything? If not couldn't you remove the whole upper section and make a new "cooling plate" for the main inverter section below? Just thinking out loud...

The problem as i see it, is there is not likely to be many situations where the car is driving at high speed, and the engine is stationary. Higher road speeds will need a decent chunk of power even for cruise, meaning the engine will need to be running.

Pretty sure its limited by mg1 and mg1 max rpm was 14000rpm. It was in my original code from 2020.

Whilst I don't have any test data to prove one way or the other I can see a couple of circumstances when mg1 would ever need to operate at anything ...

12 cell modules for now and all other required parts (main controller and monitor plus current sensor). 24 cell modules not available just yet. Cheers
