In need of basic instructions to access Zombieverter
I will have to apologize upfront. I've been watching and re-watching Damien's Youtube Zombie videos, along with combing this support site and the wikis, but it doesn't seem to answer a very basic thing that I need help with. That is, how in the hell do I even access the Zombie via the web interface?...

It's about 2-years old, but maybe still relevant.

Re: ZombieVerter dynamic pin assignments and more vehicle support
Are you saying that there is a possibility for the ZombieVerter to turn on the heat pump? Like say a Nissan Leaf one on a Nissan Leaf stack?
I know someone on the forum here was working on it. But if that is cracked, that would be awesome.

IVT-S Shut Inquiry
I did a search on this forum, but didn't get a straight answer. Is it important to have CAN2 for the shunt or is CAN1 just fine? I ask, because the IVT-S-1K-U3-I-CAN1-12/24 is in stock from a source I can get from, but not the CAN2 model. This is in particular for a Zombieverter VCU for a Gen2 Nissa...

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
On the new release, at least the notes on 1.06V, I noticed this:
"Regenerative Braking is completely disabled for the time being."
Is the Regen Braking being disabled just for the GS300h/GS450h?
Is the Gen 2 Leaf effected by this?

Tesla N/A charging standard
Looks like that Tesla is releasing their design and specification files to the public to push for a N/A charging standard and to allow other vehicles to use their charging and super charging network.

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
I think I have figured out just about everything before I jump into buying the Zom VCU board for the Nissan Leaf Gen 2 stack. Really it was just the ancillaries, like water pump and vacuum pump. I think that is figured out. I know there is probably some work being done for read only display or to co...

Question on the Zombieverter for the Nissan Leaf. Can I use any of the unused pinouts, such as oil pump or the pots and trans outputs to control the water pump and brake vacuum pump?

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
I sort of figured. Back to the drawing board, although I've seen a couple of DNR gear selectors (round selector and push button) on Alibaba that are 12v.
Choosing a gear selector is next on my list to-do.

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
I have a Prius gear selector that I'm curious could be utilize for gear selection on the ZombieVerter? This is to drive a Nissan Leaf stack. As I watched the ZV videos, the Forward and Reverse are triggered by 12v signals. Could it theoretically be programmed to be triggered by 5V hall effect signals?

Re: ZombieVerter VCU Support
Does anyone have the dimensions specs for the VCU Board enclosure? The AliExpress link to purchase them doesn't give dimension specs that I could find. (length, width, depth) or the dimensions between the mounting holes and etc. I'll probably purchase one soon, but doing some preliminary prep and se...

Yes the isa shunt is required and I have explained that in the video series and put links in the video description to : https://www.evcreate.nl/shop/charging/ivt-current-sensor/ Over on the wiki page the videos are even indexed with the specifics of connecting the shunt and the why : https://openin...

Giving some updates to the project. CV axles are now done. I was able to utilize the Fiero CV shafts and had them cut and resplined to fit the Nissan inner CV joints, as to make a hybrid cv axles to mate the Leaf gearbox to the Fiero wheel hubs. https://images.fiero.nl/userimages/Wichita/IMG_2022091...

Leaf inverter firmware limits the power , 80kw for gen 1 and 2 24&30kwh batery ,for 2018 onwards inverter its 110kw from 40kwh and then 160kw for inverters for a 62kwh e plus or e power model. Would it be a great challenge to tweak the inverter firmware for gen 1 & 2 to give it, say 100 or ...

Fiero Leaf
Hello: Everyone I've been lurking on here for a while, especially eyeballing the Zombieverter, watching all the videos, reading most of the threads, but I guess I should come on and say hello and show a bit of my Pontiac Fiero - with Leaf stack swap. For those that may not be familiar with Pontiac F...
