Some contactors have 72V coils weirdly enough.
I also think that your cells need compression before putting any load on them.
Best of luck!

Hi, could I ask an easy question...hopefully. I've also got a Passat battery, what's the voltage of each module? I need 48V modules so don't want to break it open unless the modules are 48V. Do you know? Love the build and the real-life timescale! To explain, i bought the battery for use with a Lea...

What are you going to protect it with? 2K epoxy mastic paint like Jotamastic 80/90, Epoxy Mastic 121 etc.?

Looking for single 24kWh Leaf battery module [Ireland]
edit: got sorted by someone in Co. Cork
Trying to replace the one I lost on the motorbike. Should be ZE0 (2011/2012) with at least 50% SOH to match the other ones.
Ideally Ireland or NI to keep shipping reasonable /or arrange pick up.

https://dublinmaker.ie/ is this weekend, I'll be there as a guest on Saturday.
Is there any interest in having a DIY EV conversion / OpenInverter stand next year there? I'd certainly bring the bike (again).

I'd say 20 people was the peak, there were a few coming and going before and after, not even counting the two Tog members that got the compressed presentation on the RF, so around 25 overall? It was a very good event, thanks again Håkan for the help with the iPDM56, I got an idea or two for next ste...

Even more! I have recorded 127 kW on the wattmeter! Wow, you really love pushing stuff to the limits! Fair play mate - I'd appreciate if you could put a more detailed instruction into the Wiki and/or post a video of this? How is the accelaration from a dead stop vs OEM? You made my day with this - ...

Re: [WIP] Upgrade a converted Citroën DS Electric
When I set the REVLIM at 1000 RPM, I push the throttle and the motor turns about 3000 RPM. Then I have to slow down the motor below he 1000 RPM before the motor reacts again on the throttle. If I set the REVLIM at 6000 the motor works normal. The next problem is that, when I set the THRORAMPRPM at ...

I'd stick with the OEM inverter for the Mitsubishi, 70kW have been confirmed by Arber.

Sorry for the absence, getting into this again primarily to drive the OEM gauges. Higher voltage TVS diode (1,5KE20A, overkill but available) is now fitted so I can run 4S (16.8V). I also have the stuff mounted on cardboard to move it around and bought a second connector (search for "56 pin fem...

Re: Outlander VCU - Rear inverter, Charger and BMS
It looks like Outlander inverter has a power limiter! Not amp limiter, but power limiter. When i had 84S battery inverter would let 230A go through which at 320V means 73kW. In the video i show steady acceleration and max current draw of 192A at 360V which makes about 70kW power from Outlander RWD ...

Have you tried sourcing the Lexus components from Japan?
IIRC somebody was importing a newer Outlander rear (with inverter bolted on) and it was reasonable shipping to the US and very cheap to buy but our standards. Just as couplers seem to be tricky.
