Winter solution is hydro via reservoirs.
Dams usually take multiple years to fill. A 6 month seasonal swing is nothing. Doesn't even need a river, just a high and a low, pump back and forth. Flooded mines, etc. Spend half a year banking for the winter.

It found the existing feature and added to it. To sum it up I would have done exactly the same.

Just be aware that having lots of weight upfront makes the steering really heavy. I've tested it with 75Kg, and that made a very big difference. It was just about acceptable, but testing with with 96kg (8 x VDA355 modules) was really not.

Trick question. It's not from a movie. It's from Raven McCoy in the pilot of a TV show called "Fox Force Five".

Mythbuster's rules.
If emulating the circumstances cannot replicate the myth, next try manipulating the circumstances until they do. Just how much weight is needed to straighten those axles?

On my "Beetle", which had LITERALLY A THOUSAND POUNDS OF LEAD ACIDS in it, half in the rear, half in the front, the assembly manual describes a process to re-clock the suspension one or two notches. Bugs notoriously get saggy butt and need this done anyways.

Just a stupid thought...
Is this the first EV conversion you've done of a vehicle that is younger than your oldest conversion?

Did you just WELD steel into a 90 degree bend?
You own a hammer, and a vice.
At lest give them little 1/2" triangular shoulder gussets at the sides.

I think people don't ascribe enough weight to just how slowly interest percolates down through the DIY chain. Damien first reverse-engineered the Prius Gen 2 back like, 7 or 8 years ago. Johannes had been selling his board for like, 5 years? WITH a full demo of it (sort of) working on an entirely ...

A 928 build was one of my dream builds, but I think I waited about 5 years too long for "old junky" Porsches to still be cheap.
I love that the 928 is the luxury version of the 911, and was murdered by Porsche because it was stealing sales from their flagship car.

Motor and inverter choice should be agnostic. You can use it to power anything if you configure it correctly. It's just a waveform and a resolver for feedback.

The question still remains: Why will this motor not spin while performing the FOC tuning procedure? I have tried voltages from 50-100vdc and all four potential resolver connection arrangements, resulting in no joy :(
