Because the OEM control board can already output 160 kW Plus the demand for OI Nissan control boards isn't high in general because these can just be used with CAN without needing to swap the control board. i thought you said it only can output 125kW as of now? is that using the OI board right? but ...

anyone ever test it with different batteries? is there a set limit as of now, just from a software stand point? are there any other inverters/controllers for it with higher kW capabilities?

I believe the Honda IMA motor is integrated into the flywheel side of the engine which makes it pretty hard or impossible to do what you are suggesting. The IMA is pretty weak with around a 10kW output as well. So you would be better off just focusing on increasing the Leaf Motor output if you want...

I wanna use the Honda crz integrated motor assist for more power along with a Nissan leaf motor coupled to it instead of an engine. I already have the Nissan leaf inverter open inverter board from the shop but now im not sure if I should have gotten the Toyota Prius inverter because of its dual moto...

Well i choose gen1 leaf motor because it can demonstrate 300hp. i bought a nissan leaf 2013 whole motor assembly. and its gonna get dropped off. what should i use that will have the strength to pick it up the guy said i should rent a dolly from uhaul services. is that good enough to carry it around? should i get one of those?
