Scrappy CHAdeMO to CCS adapter for EV Conversions
Hello folks. As I was progressing with my wiring I had an idea, wanted to bounce off your brilliant minds. While CCS chargers are outnumbering the CHAdeMO, there're still many CHAdeMO ports out there and as the number of CCS vehicles is growing, CHAdeMO plugs are often unoccupied. I have a CCS charg...

Re: BMW LIM based CCS2 Controller
Cool. Looks like removing these two 60ohm resistors joined in series removed the CANbus termination, so the LIM can be put anywhere on the bus. Thanks. Re: BMW LIM based CCS2 Controller
Cannot seem to locate the termination resistor. Right on the inputs it has the filter circuit (zeners and chokes), then then traces disappear into another layer.

Re: BMW LIM based CCS2 Controller
Must the LIM module be at the end of the CANbus and no workaround?
Reads 120Ohm between the CAN-H and CAN-L.

SDU CAN bus connection
Hello folks.
A quick confirmation. If my SDU isn't the last device on the CANbus I just need to de-solder the R37 terminating resistor?

Re: Voltswagen T2 -76
It does have a bolt pattern very similar to the VW one. Just a few mm's narrower on horizontal so I'm getting away with just widening the mounting bolt holes a bit in that direction. https://pixelfed.fi/storage/m/_v2/530130149058689089/f1538e3aa-7b3151/PMXU9LOwuc4x/XHrXiFuhnwdrYGaIhuJjmfv2wpETH3c2R...

Re: SDU brake lights output!?
While the OI firmware provides such an output at a regen level you can configure, the SDU and LDU boards do not export that signal to the outside world. I see. Is it by chance an option to send a regen message via CANbus? Curious if somebody actually triggers the brake lights during the regen if th...

SDU brake lights output!?
Hello folks. Quick question. How do you trigger the brake lights from the SDU OI board (I have v6) in your projects? I have a pressure switch on the brakes proportional valve, which I will use to trigger the max. regen - brk sw input to the OI bored. Planning to use the same signal to trigger the li...

Not sure if the ones I bought are Bosch, but "fuel injector" was the right key word to finding these on Amazon.

Does anybody know what connector is used for the Tesla honk?
Inside dims 11x12 mm. 5.5 mm between pins. The pins are flat, not round.

Re: Parameters disappear after throttle! [SOLVED]
Yeah, that's exactly what my interface looked like. The wiring for the power to my OI board was really thin, all I did was increase the gauge of the wires supplying 12v and it solved my issue. It sounds like the problem you're having is different because I wasn't able to spin my motor after I lost ...

Watching this thread... Mine does the same thing. So far I've been running the motor using half of my pack 116VDC (udcmin=100vdc) and the max I get out of potnom is 0.09. I can post the plots later. I'm on the latest firmware. The motor spins though. I'm switching between different tasks of the conv...

Re: Parameters disappear after throttle! [SOLVED]
This indicates that for some reason the wifi module did a watchdog reset. Afterwards the stm32 still communicates at 1M baud and the wifi mod at 115k baud. It might be caused by the data rate being so low that the watchdog resets the wifi module. It doesn't affect drivability as the wifi module is ...

Re: Parameters disappear after throttle! [SOLVED]
I'm curious. Is this what your web-ui looks like when you "loose parameters"? My SDU board has good comms and runs fine when I test it on the bench However, when I put it in the drive unit in the car, bolt and torque it, it misbehaves. My laptop connects and I can browse the web-ui, but af...

Loaded this firmware to SDU V6. My direction is set by switches: dirmode:Switches. Forward and reverse are swapped i.e when seldir=Forward; motor spins in reverse and rotordir=Reverse and vice versa. Has the option to swap signals in the UI been removed? Edit: ok. I found that there's a signal swap...

Has this or similar approach been pushed into the main firmware? Makes sense to me for the throttle calcs to depend on the motor rpm.
Thank you. This thread helps me understand why I had accel dead zone when running the motor for the first time, yesterday.
